     The Christians that meet here at Southside strive to follow the Biblical example of what the early church did in worship, teaching, and benevolence. We believe that you must have a direct command or an example from the scriptures for all that we do in service to God. We have no allegiance to any religious body except that of Christ’s. We are not governed by any outside organization. 

     We meet on the first day of the week in the morning to partake of the Lord’s Supper (Acts 20:7), to give a portion of what we have been blessed with back to God (1 Corinthians 16:2), to study God’s word (Acts 17:11), and to sing songs of praise and edification (Ephesians 5:19).

Sunday evening, we meet again to study God’s word and sing songs of praise and edification.

On Wednesday evening we meet to study God’s word in a class setting.

     We welcome all who visit and would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the things we do

and don’t do in our worship services.
